Questions? We Got You.
Real answers to the questions people actually ask.
How does the build-your-own meal plan work?
The build-your-own meal plan lets you choose any 10, 20, or 30 chef-prepared meals from our rotating menu of 30+ ready-to-eat options. Pick your meal count, browse the menu, add the meals you want to your box, and check out — no subscription required, no commitment to future orders. We cook, portion, and flash-freeze every meal, then ship your box with free shipping. When it arrives, store the meals in your freezer and reheat individual meals in 3–5 minutes whenever you're ready.
How much does each meal cost on the build-your-own plan?
Meals on the build-your-own plan start at $8.99 each at the 10-meal tier. The price per meal drops as your box size grows: order 20 meals to save 10% per meal, or 30 meals to save 20% per meal. Free shipping is included on every meal plan order regardless of size, and there are no hidden fees, surcharges, or required subscription.
What's the difference between a 10, 20, and 30 meal plan?
The number of meals and the per-meal price are the only differences — the menu, ingredients, and meal options are identical across all three sizes. A 10-meal box is best if you want to try Clean Eatz Kitchen for the first time, replace lunches for two weeks, or supplement existing meals. A 20-meal box covers about three weeks of one meal a day, with 10% off per meal. A 30-meal box covers a full month of one meal a day with 20% off per meal — the lowest cost-per-meal option and the most popular choice for ongoing use.
Can I pick the same meal more than once in my box?
Yes. You can repeat any meal as many times as you want within your meal plan. If you love one entrée and want it eight times in a 10-meal box, that's allowed. There's no "one of each" rule, no required variety, and no limit on how many of any single meal you can include — pick the lineup that actually works for your week.
How is the menu chosen, and how often does it change?
Our chef team designs the menu with a focus on portion-controlled macros, real ingredients, and approachable flavors. The full menu rotates regularly to keep variety high and to feature seasonal proteins and produce — most meals are available continuously, with new options introduced and others rotated out periodically. The current menu and what's available this week is always shown on the build-your-own meal plan page before you commit to checkout.
What dietary preferences can I filter for on the build-your-own plan?
The build-your-own menu includes options across multiple dietary categories — high-protein, gluten-free, lower-calorie, dairy-conscious, and weight-loss-aligned meals are all on the menu and labeled accordingly. If you want a dedicated plan built entirely around one goal or restriction, we also offer specific landing pages for weight loss meal plans, high-protein meal plans, and gluten-free meal plans, which are pre-filtered versions of the menu so you don't have to do the sorting yourself.
Should I choose the build-your-own meal plan or a curated meal plan?
Choose the build-your-own meal plan if you want full control over which meals end up in your box, you have specific preferences or aversions you want to manage manually, or you want the flexibility to mix entrées across multiple goals. Choose a curated meal plan if you'd rather not pick individual meals — curated plans are pre-selected by our team around a specific goal like weight loss or high protein, so you get a balanced lineup without browsing the menu. Both options use the same menu, the same pricing structure, and the same no-subscription policy. Browse curated meal plans →
Are your meals safe for common food allergies?
All Clean Eatz Kitchen meals are prepared in a shared commercial kitchen that handles common allergens including wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, and peanuts. Each meal lists its full ingredient panel and allergen disclosures on the meal detail page within the build-your-own menu. If you have a severe allergy, please review individual meal ingredient lists before ordering, and reach out to our support team with specific questions before purchase.
