Health Notice
Overview
CE Kitchen Inc (dba Clean Eatz Kitchen) was founded by people passionate about health and nutrition. Our mission is to make healthy eating convenient and accessible through prepared, portion-controlled meals delivered to your door.
However, Clean Eatz Kitchen is not a medical organization, and nothing on this website or in our products constitutes medical advice, medical nutrition therapy, or a recommendation for any specific diet, treatment, or health plan. This Health Notice and Disclaimer explains the limitations of our products and services and the assumptions you accept when purchasing from us.
Not Medical Advice
Clean Eatz Kitchen meals are designed to support a healthier pattern of eating and the development of healthy lifestyle habits. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
We strongly urge you to consult with your primary healthcare provider (e.g., physician, nurse practitioner, or registered dietitian) before making any significant changes to your diet, especially if any of the following apply:
Weight loss goals: Even if weight loss is not your primary goal, changes in caloric intake can result in weight loss, which can create physical changes that should be medically monitored. Studies have shown, for example, that rapid weight loss can aggravate gallbladder conditions.
Pregnancy or nursing: Caloric and nutritional needs change significantly during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Our standard meal plans are not specifically designed for the increased demands of pregnancy or lactation. Consult your OB/GYN or midwife before using our meals as a primary food source during this time.
Diabetes or blood sugar conditions: Our meals contain varying levels of carbohydrates, sugars, and sodium. If you manage diabetes, insulin resistance, or hypoglycemia, work with your healthcare team to determine which meals are appropriate for your dietary needs.
Kidney disease or renal conditions: Some of our meals may contain levels of sodium, potassium, phosphorus, or protein that are not suitable for individuals with chronic kidney disease or those on dialysis. Consult your nephrologist or renal dietitian before consuming our meals.
Heart disease or hypertension: While we offer meals designed with health-conscious macronutrient profiles, not all meals are low-sodium. If you are managing a cardiovascular condition, review the nutritional information on each product before purchasing.
Eating disorders: If you are recovering from or managing an eating disorder (such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or binge eating disorder), calorie-counted and portion-controlled meals may not be appropriate for your recovery without the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
Food allergies or intolerances: Please read the Allergen Information section below carefully. If you have a severe or life-threatening food allergy, we strongly recommend that you do not consume our meals.
Any other medical condition: If you have any medical condition that requires a specialized diet or that could be affected by changes in nutrition, please consult with your healthcare provider before ordering.
Body Mass Index (BMI) Guidance
We encourage our customers to maintain their weight within the healthy weight guidelines endorsed by the World Health Organization, generally equivalent to a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18.5 and 25.0. Weight loss is not advised for individuals with a BMI below the healthy range.
However, we recognize that BMI is an imperfect and incomplete measure of an individual’s health. BMI does not account for factors such as muscle mass, bone density, body composition, age, sex, ethnicity, or overall fitness level. Other indicators may be more robust predictors of certain health outcomes for many individuals.
We encourage you to work with your healthcare provider to determine the approach to weight management and nutrition that is right for you, rather than relying solely on BMI.
Exercise and Lifestyle
Our meals are one component of a healthy lifestyle but are not a substitute for regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, or other aspects of overall wellness. Nutrition alone does not constitute a complete health program.
If you are beginning a new exercise program in conjunction with dietary changes, consult your healthcare provider — particularly if you have been sedentary, have a known medical condition, or are over the age of 40.
Allergen Information
Shared Facility
All Clean Eatz Kitchen products are prepared in facilities that process foods containing known allergens. Despite our food safety protocols, including sanitation procedures between production runs, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of any allergen due to the shared nature of our equipment and production areas.
Major Allergens
In accordance with the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) and the FASTER Act of 2021, we identify the following nine major allergens on our product labels when they are present as ingredients: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, and sesame.
However, due to the shared-facility environment described above, any of our products may contain trace amounts of any of these allergens, even if the allergen is not listed on the label for that specific product.
Cross-Contact
Cross-contact occurs when a small amount of an allergen is unintentionally transferred to a product that does not normally contain that allergen. This can happen through shared equipment, utensils, preparation surfaces, or airborne particles during production. While we take precautions to minimize cross-contact, we cannot eliminate the risk entirely.
Severe and Life-Threatening Allergies
If you experience symptoms of an allergic reaction after consuming one of our products — including hives, swelling, difficulty breathing, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, or gastrointestinal distress — seek medical attention immediately. Call 911 if you are experiencing anaphylaxis. If you have been prescribed an epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen), use it as directed by your physician while awaiting emergency medical services.
Unlisted Allergens and Sensitivities
Our allergen declarations cover the nine major allergens required by federal law. Other potential allergens or sensitivities — such as corn, cellulose, mustard, sulfites, certain spices, artificial colors, or preservatives — may be present in some products but are not always called out separately on every label. If you have a sensitivity or intolerance to a substance beyond the nine major allergens, please review the full ingredient list for each product carefully, or contact us at support@cleaneatzkitchen.com with questions about specific ingredients.
Nutritional Information Accuracy
The nutritional information displayed on our product labels and on our website — including calories, fat, carbohydrates, protein, sodium, and other values — is based on theoretical production recipes. This means the values are calculated from the nutritional profiles of each ingredient as formulated in the recipe, rather than from laboratory testing of each individual finished meal.
Actual nutritional values may differ from the stated values due to factors including:
(a) Normal variation in ingredient weights and portioning during production;
(b) Seasonal or supplier-driven variation in the nutritional content of raw ingredients;
(c) Differences in cooking methods, times, or temperatures that may affect nutrient retention;
(d) Rounding in accordance with FDA labeling regulations.
We rely in part on information provided by our ingredient suppliers as to the accuracy of their nutritional data, ingredient composition, and allergen status. While we work with reputable suppliers and verify information where possible, we cannot independently guarantee that all supplier-provided data is accurate at all times.
For more details on our labeling practices, please review our Labeling Disclaimer.
Weight Management Disclaimer
Individual results from consuming Clean Eatz Kitchen meals will vary. We do not guarantee any specific health outcome, weight loss, body composition change, or fitness result. Factors that influence results include but are not limited to: baseline health, activity level, metabolic rate, adherence to the meal plan, other foods consumed outside of our meals, hydration, sleep quality, stress, medications, genetics, and medical history.
Any testimonials, before-and-after photos, success stories, or transformation content shared on our website, social media, or marketing materials represent individual experiences and are not guarantees of typical results.
Weight loss is not appropriate for everyone. If your BMI is already in the healthy range or below, or if you have a medical condition that could be adversely affected by weight loss, consult your physician before attempting to lose weight.
Children and Minors
Clean Eatz Kitchen meals are designed for adult consumption. Our portion sizes, macronutrient profiles, and caloric targets are based on adult dietary needs and may not be appropriate for children.
If you are considering serving our meals to children or adolescents, we recommend consulting with a pediatrician or registered dietitian to ensure the meals are appropriate for their age, size, and nutritional requirements.
Third-Party Content and Links
Our website and social media channels may contain links to third-party websites, articles, studies, or resources related to health, nutrition, fitness, or wellness. These links are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement of the content, products, or services offered by third parties. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CE Kitchen Inc, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, suppliers, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:
(a) Your use of or reliance on any information, products, or services provided by Clean Eatz Kitchen;
(b) Any allergic reaction, adverse health effect, illness, or injury resulting from the consumption of our products, including but not limited to reactions arising from allergen cross-contact in our shared-facility environment;
(c) Any health outcome or lack thereof from following a meal plan or consuming our meals;
(d) Products consumed after the labeled “Use By” or “Best By” date, or products that were improperly stored, handled, or reheated.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the purchase price of the specific order giving rise to the claim.
This limitation of liability does not apply where prohibited by law. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
