Clean Eatz Kitchen vs Trifecta: Macro-Counted Meals Compared for 2026

About this comparison: This comparison is published by Clean Eatz Kitchen, one of the two services compared. Prices and ordering terms come from each company's website; see How we compared them.

The verdict

Clean Eatz Kitchen wins for most macro trackers. Our meals start at $8.99 each with free shipping, no subscription and 12 months in the freezer, with full macros on every label. Trifecta plans start at $112.00 for 7 entrees, about $16.00 a meal, plus $12.99 shipping on a weekly subscription. Pick Trifecta for a dedicated keto or paleo plan.

If you track macros, a prepared meal is only useful when the label is right and the price lets you keep ordering. That is the test here, run on cost, terms, protein and format using only what each company publishes.

We picked a winner by looking at what changes your week: what each meal costs once shipping is in, whether a subscription bills you before you decide, and how long the food keeps.

Clean Eatz Kitchen leads on price, flexibility and freezer life. Trifecta meals win on dedicated keto and paleo plans and on a higher-protein plan built for training.

Trifecta meals cost $112.00 for 7 entrees on every plan listed on Trifecta's site in October 2026, $16.00 a meal before shipping. Our Build A Meal Plan starts at $8.99 a meal, shipped free. One costs about half as much.

How we compared them

Clean Eatz Kitchen publishes this comparison of its own meals with Trifecta. Prices, nutrition and ordering terms come from each company's website as of October 2026.

We did not run a taste test. Every fact about Trifecta Nutrition below comes from Trifecta's plan pages, FAQ and checkout pages. Ours come from our product pages and nutrition info page. We scored five things:

  • Price per meal, with shipping added
  • Ordering terms: subscription, minimums, cutoffs, cancellation
  • Protein and macro transparency
  • Diet plans: weight loss, protein, keto, paleo, GLP-1
  • Format and shelf life

Side-by-side comparison

This table puts the two services on the rows macro meal delivery shoppers ask about most. A check mark shows who comes out ahead.

If you order every week, price and subscription matter most. If you eat keto or paleo, the diet plan row may outweigh them. Trifecta Nutrition meals and ours both list full macros, so that row is a draw.

Clean Eatz Kitchen

Best overall

We are a no subscription meal delivery service. You pay once, and the meals arrive flash-frozen on dry ice in 2 to 3 business days. Nothing renews. We wrote about why no-subscription meal delivery wins for people whose weeks don't repeat. For high protein meal delivery, our High Protein Meal Plan adds 2 extra ounces of meat to each recipe, about 10 g more protein, from $63.00 for 6.

Every meal lists its calories, protein, carbs, fat and allergens, and the box costs about half of a weekly plan elsewhere.

Pros

  • From $8.99 a meal, with free shipping on every meal plan
  • No subscription, no weekly cutoff, no charge you didn't start
  • Meals keep up to 12 months in the freezer
  • Calories, protein, carbs, fat and allergens on every label

Cons

  • No dedicated keto or paleo plan
  • Meals arrive frozen, not chilled, so there is no fresh option
  • Most plans start at 10 meals (6 on High Protein), and some repeat recipes
Build My Plan

Trifecta

Best for keto & paleo

Trifecta meal delivery is a weekly subscription built around athletes. In October 2026 its site lists eight plans from $112.00 a week for 7 entrees, including Protein Build, Get Lean, Paleo, Keto, Plant Based and GLP-1. Meals are cooked, flash-frozen, then thawed in transit so they arrive chilled and vacuum sealed.

Any honest Trifecta meals review has to give it keto and paleo outright. Its Keto plan averages 490 calories, 38 g of protein and 12 g of carbs per meal, and its Paleo plan is Whole30 friendly. The trade is price and terms: $16.00 a meal before shipping, billed weekly unless you skip or cancel before the Friday cutoff.

On organic, Trifecta's FAQ says it uses organic produce and starches where they matter most and labels each one. A 2012 Annals of Internal Medicine review found fewer pesticide residues on organic produce but no meaningful nutrient difference, so it changes sourcing, not your macros.

Pros

  • Dedicated Keto, Paleo, Plant Based and GLP-1 plans
  • Protein Build plan averages 45 g of protein per meal
  • Arrives chilled and vacuum sealed, heats on the stovetop, oven, air fryer or microwave
  • Money-back guarantee on a first order of up to 7 meals

Cons

  • $112.00 for 7 entrees, about $16.00 a meal, plus $12.99 shipping
  • Weekly auto-renew with a Friday cutoff
  • 7 days in the fridge or 3 months frozen
  • Full app features cost $12.99 a month or $69.99 a year

Category breakdown

The table gives the quick answer. This breakdown explains each row and where Trifecta earns its win.

Clean Eatz Kitchen takes price and ordering terms, Trifecta takes the keto meal delivery and paleo meal delivery category, and format comes out even.

Know your own numbers first. Our guide to calculate your personal macros gives you a target to judge each plan against.

Price & value per meal

Winner: Clean Eatz Kitchen

Trifecta prices by the week. Every plan lists $112.00 for 7 entrees, $154.90 for 10 and $209.86 for 14, which is $16.00, $15.49 and $14.99 a meal. Add $12.99 shipping and a 7-meal box lands near $17.86 a meal.

Our prices are per box, shipped free. Build A Meal Plan starts at $8.99 a meal. The Weight Loss Meal Plan is $89.95 for 10, $165.50 for 20 and $226.75 for 30, about $9.00 down to $7.56 a meal.

Keto meal delivery, paleo & macro plans

Winner: Trifecta

Trifecta wins this one. It runs a true keto meal delivery plan, averaging 12 g of carbs and 38 g of protein per meal by its own numbers, and a paleo meal delivery plan that meets Whole30 rules. We don't sell either, and we won't pretend a low-carb filter is the same thing.

On macro plans the two are close. Trifecta's Get Lean averages 440 calories and 32 g of protein, its GLP-1 plan 450 calories and 30 g, and Protein Build 580 calories and 45 g. Our Weight Loss Meal Plan is portion-controlled and calorie-controlled. The International Society of Sports Nutrition suggests 20 to 40 g of protein per meal for active adults, which every plan above clears.

No subscription meal delivery vs weekly plans

Winner: Clean Eatz Kitchen

Trifecta's subscription auto-renews every week. Its FAQ says you can skip up to 4 weeks at a time, and any change has to be in before Friday at 11:59 PM Pacific the week before your delivery. Cancel after that cutoff and the next box still ships.

That works if every week looks the same. It works badly for travel weeks, sick weeks and the week you want something else. We have no cutoff because nothing runs in the background. You order a box, and the next order happens when you place it.

Taste, freshness & format

Tie

We can't score taste without a test, so we won't. We can compare format. Trifecta meals arrive chilled in vacuum-sealed trays, and its site says they taste best refrigerated, eaten within 7 days. The label gives stovetop, oven, air fryer and microwave directions.

Our meals arrive flash-frozen in single-serve trays and heat in under 5 minutes. The FDA notes that food stays safe indefinitely at 0 F, with quality, not safety, falling over time, and we say up to 12 months. Want a chilled meal to sear this week? Trifecta fits. Want a freezer you stock once? Ours does.

Quick cost example

Say you eat 10 of these meals a week. Four Trifecta deliveries of 10 entrees cost $154.90 each plus $12.99 shipping, about $671.56 a month. Forty Weight Loss Meal Plan meals, one 30-meal box ($226.75) and one 10-meal box ($89.95), come to $316.70 shipped free. That is about $355 a month, or roughly $4,260 a year.

Key takeaways

  • Clean Eatz Kitchen costs about half as much per meal once Trifecta's shipping is added.
  • No subscription on our side. Trifecta bills weekly unless you skip or cancel before its cutoff.
  • Both print full macros. Trifecta's Protein Build averages 45 g, and our menu runs 23 to 55 g.
  • Trifecta wins keto and paleo outright. Our meals keep 12 months frozen against Trifecta's 3.

Who should choose which

If you came here as a Trifecta meal prep fan, ask what you were paying for. If it was the keto or paleo plan, Trifecta is still the better fit. If it was macros on a label at a price you can keep paying, our High Protein Meal Plan at about $10.50 a meal covers the same job for less.

There is no wrong answer here, only a better fit for how you eat. Go with the list below that matches more of your week.

Choose Clean Eatz Kitchen if
  • You want macros on every label at $8.99 to $10.50 a meal, shipped free
  • You'd rather stock a freezer for months than manage a weekly cutoff
  • You're eating for weight loss, higher protein or GLP-1 support
Choose Trifecta if
  • You follow keto or paleo and want a plan built to those rules
  • You want 45 g of protein per meal and have room for about $16 a meal plus shipping
  • You prefer chilled, vacuum-sealed meals and a steady weekly delivery

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions we hear most when someone reads a Trifecta Nutrition review and wonders how our meals compare.

What Do Trifecta Meals Reviews Say?

We don't rate either service or quote review scores. Trifecta posts verified buyer reviews on each plan page. Read the recent ones for what a label can't show: taste, portion size, how the box arrived and how easy the subscription was to manage.

Is Trifecta Meal Delivery Good for Weight Loss?

It can be. Trifecta's Get Lean plan averages 440 calories and 32 g of protein per meal, which fits a modest calorie deficit. So does our Weight Loss Meal Plan at about $9.00 a meal. The deficit comes from your whole day, not one tray. Talk with your doctor or a dietitian if you have a medical condition or take a GLP-1.

Which Is Better for Trifecta Meal Prep Fans on a Budget?

Trifecta Meal Prep, its a la carte proteins, carbs and vegetables, starts at $99 per delivery, about $11 a meal for 10 by Trifecta's own math, plus $12.99 shipping, weekly. Our Build A Meal Plan starts at $8.99 a meal with free shipping, no subscription and a protein filter.
